EN 1090 - Structural Steel CE Marking

In order to comply with CPR regulations, distributers, fabricators and all others involved in the supply of structural steel must be compliant with the EN 1090 standard. Holding the standard certification enables them to CE Mark their structural steel products. This in turn assures the consumer that the marked products have been provided in line with the regulatory requirements and are fit for purpose. EN 1090 ensures the traceability of each piece of steel delivered.

ISO 9001 - Quality Management Systems

ISO 9001 is the world’s leading quality management system standard ensuring that quality processes are implemented throughout an organisation to ensure the reliability and repeatability of delivering quality products and services. Certification to this standard gives consumers confidence that the organisations holding such certification have been thoroughly assessed against and have successfully complied with the internationally recognised standard for quality management.

IMS - Integrated Management Systems

Companies wishing to achieve certification to multiple Management Systems standards can do so easily with potential reductions in assessment time when fully integrating their systems and certification. This can be easily achieved with the new Annex SL covering the majority of updated standards. EN ISO 3834 - Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding

EN ISO 3834 defines quality requirements for welding both in workshops and on site, and is appropriate when demonstration of a manufacturer’s capability to produce welded construction in accordance with specified criteria is required; it can also be used as the basis for assessing a manufacturer’s welding quality arrangements.

Implementation

Ensure you have implemented a management system which is compliant with the requirements of the standard(s) for which you require certification.

Audit

Our OACI Auditor will attend your place of business and assess your implemented management system against the requirements of the standard(s) for which you require certification in line with the provided quotation.

They will then make a recommendation and deliver any improvement findings.

Certification

Once you have reviewed the improvement findings and acted on them as required your audit will be verified as effective and your certification will be issued to you for the standard(s) which you required certification against.

You may then advertise and reference your awarded certification to consumers.
