Certification - EN 1090 and ISO 9001 (+353) 67 50298 Connect With Us »

On the 29th of March 2017, the United Kingdom Government triggered Article 50 of the Treaty of the European Union which signalled the UK’s intention to leave the EU. This means that as of the 29th of March 2019 the UK will no longer be part of the EU. Following BREXIT, the UK Notified Bodies will lose their status as EU Notified Bodies. A major effect of that will be the UK Notified Bodies will cease to be registered on the EU Commission’s NANDO database. Therefore, UK Notified Bodies will no longer be able to provide CE Marking Certification. It is therefore advised that Fabricators placing structural steel products onto the EU market Transfer their Certification of an EU, NANDO registered Notified Body such as INAB Accredited, EN 1090 Certification Body, OMNI Assured Certification International.
